Sabathia went seven innings, but allowed five runs and David Robertson and Joba Chamberlain only managed to get one batter out between them.
Offensively the star was Eduardo Nunez who went 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBI.
Marcus Thames continued his hot streak with a pair of home runs.
Nick Swisher continues to shine against his former team, he is 4-for-9 with two homers and five RBI in this series.
Robinson Cano and Jorge Posada also had multi-hit nights.
