Yankees Trade Rumors: Coghlan’s Injury Makes Ross Trade Less Likely

style="text-align: justify;">According to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports , the Chris Coghlan injury effects the Yankees in more ways than just answering a few questions about pies (he was injured in a walk-off pie throwing celebration), it takes away one of their trade options at the deadline – OF Cody Ross .

Now this doesn’t necessarily kill a deal between the Yankees and Marlins for Ross, a right handed hitting outfielder who would be the perfect platoon for Curtis Granderson .

It does make things much more complicated.
