Yankees-Red Sox: The Empire Strikes Back in Game Two

0-162 record? As if. The Yankees rebounded quickly with a win in game No. 2 of the season, defeating the Red Sox 6-4.

After the Yanks went down quietly 1-2-3 in the top of the first, the Red Sox and Jacoby Ellsbury immediately jumped on AJ Burnett in his season debut. Ellsbury led off with a single, and proceeded to steal second, and a Jorge Posada throwing error (one of THREE Yankee errors on the night), allowed him to take third. Kevin Youkilis drove him in on a sac fly. The Bombers responded in the second with an RBI double from Nick Swisher into the corner in right. (Score after two: 1-1).
