Yankees Pitcher Andy Pettitte Will Reportedly Start on Tuesday against Blue Jays

New York Yankees got a great piece of news today when they found out that Andy Pettitte will be ready to take the mound on Tuesday against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Bryan Hoch of MLB.com broke the news via Twitter:

Andy Pettitte will start for the Yankees on Tuesday

— Bryan Hoch (@BryanHoch) September 13, 2012 Pettitte has been absent from the Yankees' rotation for far too long—since June 27 to be exact. That was a result of Pettitte taking a line drive off his leg, effectively knocking him out for over two months.

After a setback, Pettitte was actually in danger of missing the rest of the season. That would have been a nightmare for the Bombers.

Before his injury, Pettitte was one of the Yanks best starters. ...
