Yankees-Orioles: Francisco Cervelli Gets to Shine with Young Girl’s Help

in the day yesterday, Yankees backup catcher Francisco Cervelli, made a visit to Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan.

Yankees players and staff members often make visits to the hospital and meet some of the patients. Cervelli was joined by Yankees backup infielder Ramiro Pena.

Cervelli, starting in place of the injured Jorge Posada, met a young girl named Jane, who gave a gift to the Yankees catcher. This gift, a thin bracelet, ended up defining his night.

The word "Shine," was on the bracelet and that is just what Cervelli did last night in the Yankees' 4-1 win over the Baltimore Orioles.
