class="ui-droppable">The MLB offseason has been a wild one thus far with plenty of big names switching locales, but perhaps the most intriguing free agent of all was Japanese ace Masahiro Tanaka. The potential superstar is on the market no longer, though, as he has agreed to a seven-year, $155 million contract with the New York Yankees, according to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.
Predictably, Tanaka's signing has sparked plenty of reaction throughout the sports world. That would have been the case regardless of which team he signed with, but the fact that he has decided to join the Yankees, who are either beloved or reviled by most, makes things even more interesting.
