New York Yankees have suffered injuries to their top-two relievers—Mariano Rivera and David Robertson—and are now left with Rafael Soriano as the closer and an undetermined bridge to get to him.
Rivera is lost for the season, but Marc Carig of the Star-Ledger reports that Robertson could be back in late May or early June.
While the team will be getting back Robertson in the near future, they are still a little under-manned in the bullpen.
Brian Cashman knows there are plenty of trade options available should he wish to pursue them, but he'd be smart not to make a move.
