New York Yankees Farm System: Adam Warren Is Nothing More Than Common

has been a lot of excitement over the farm system of the New York Yankees the last year or two, and much of it justified. But you can forget about Adam Warren being any sort of prospect worthy of such commotion.

Oh, if you look no further than the box score, you're bound to think the Yankees have something in Warren. After all, he just completed two scoreless innings against the Baltimore Orioles, lowering his spring ERA to 1.93.

Save yourself the disappointment. To watch this dude throw the ball is to know he is nothing more than the next Darrell Rasner or Dan Giese.

Warren features... well...he features nothing. He throws a mediocre fastball at 89 with next-to-no movement, he throws a breaking ball that has about as much movement ...
