Aubrey Huff to New York Yankees Rumors: ‘I’m Pretty Much Retired’

New York Yankees got bad news this week on their star first baseman.

Mark Teixeira suffered a wrist injury during batting practice of the World Baseball Classic and will be sidelined for eight to 10 weeks.

With that injury, the Yankees have been looking around for potential fill-ins that could be a temporary solution to Teixeira.

One of those solutions that was brought up was veteran Aubrey Huff, who last played in 2012 with the World Series champion San Francisco Giants.

However, according to Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle, the 36-year-old Huff is not interested in playing for any team this year.
